Lightning Protection in Northern Ireland

Lightning is arguably the most powerful natural force known to man. We have spent over 40 years developing and installing the most effective means possible to protect people and buildings from the most explosive spilt second they will hopefully never experience, but many do.

If you and your building are properly prepared, then the effect of lightning will be minimised, but if you are not, or if you try to cut corners in your preparation the unbelievable force generated by a strike is something people never forget.
Lightning protection services
The service we offer starts with our design and consultancy facility, consisting of an initial site survey and risk assessment calculation. We will submit fully detailed proposed drawings and technical submittals for approval before any works commence on site. The work will then be carried out quickly, efficiently and professionally.
Following the installation we will arrange regular inspections and maintenance. It is recommended by the British Standard that an existing lightning protection system be inspected and tested annually. On site a visual inspection will be carried out of all the components that make up the lightning protection system, from the air termination network, to the down conductors, to the earth termination network at ground level. An earth resistance test shall be carried out on the system to ensure that the reading is still within the acceptable level as recommend by the British Standard. We will then issue a full report detailing if necessary any repairs that the system may require, together with a test certificate which is valid for 12 months.
